L’Érablière du Lac Beauport, which will celebrate 35 years of existence in a few years, has a noted passion for satisfying its customers in an enchanted location. Your visit will be most interesting and supported by a warm and bilingual staff. The Maple Museum will explain the evolution of the sugaring tradition starting with the discovery of maple sugar water by early Amerindians to the techniques used today.
The Trapper’s Camp will allow you to see all indigenous animal species of Quebec Fauna, which are unique in Quebec. The traditional sugar bush meal is served year-round accompanied by folk music and dancing followed by maple taffy served on snow. L’Érablière du Lac Beauport is an outstanding establishment that is recognized worldwide for its clientele from Germany, Japan, China, France, Switzerland, U.S.A., and Canada.

Visit of the Maple Museum. The “Érablière du Lac Beauport” has created an absolutely unique Maple Museum, Showing the evolution and modernization of the maple industry throughout the years, from its early Amerindian origin up to now. Guided visits are available in French or English (about 15 minutes). The Maple Shop also offers to our distinguished clients the opportunity to get the complete display of maple products and the tasting of maple butter.
Trapper’s Camp
“The Trapper’s Camp” is an interpretation centre about the fauna in Quebec City. Quality naturalized animals like the polar bear, black bear, deer, bobcat, beaver, wild duck, wolf, coyote, moose and many more in a old charming shack. A tribute to our trapper ancestors. You will find souvenirs and different fur products for sale (around 15 minutes).
